A military facility in Plateau State reportedly witnessed a bomb blast at about 9:45 this morning, April 25. It was gathered that the bomb exploded at the Nigerian Army’s 3rd Armoured Division barracks at Bassa Local Government Area of the state.

Casualty details are still sketchy, but witnesses and security sources have confirmed the incident. Some reports say several persons died in the attack. Pulse recalls that an explosion that hit a terminal market in Jos, Plateau capital, in May 20, 2014 reportedly killed over 118 people.

In December same year, a twin blast rocked Jos, and at least 31 people were reported dead.

Another explosion hit a bus station, also in Jos, and it killed 13 and left 14 injured in February 2015, amongst others.

Story still developing.
