Wizkid has denied media reports that he walked out of the Headies award in anger.
Viral
reports had claimed that the singer had walked out of the music and
video awards which held on Sunday at the Eko convention centre, Lagos,
because he didn’t get a reserved table at the show.
Wizkid however took to Twitter to deny the report.
“It’s
not easy doing shows like that in Nigeria with little or no sponsorship
so let’s give that credit to the “Headies” for always doing it,” Wizkid
wrote.“Reports making rounds is I walked out of the Headies “angry”.. I
respect the Headies and its organizers and no, I didn’t,” he added.
